Welcome New & Returning Patients:

📆BOOKING INFORMATION For new patients, please book 2-3 follow up appointments about 2 weeks apart after your initial appointment. For returning patients, please book 2-3 follow up if you have limited availability. It is easier to move or cancel a pre-booked appointments over losing available times. Evening and late afternoon appointments do book up quickly.

You may require more than 1 visit to resolve your health concerns. On-going treatments will be determined based on the reassessment of your case. Please use the online WAITLIST if I am not available at your desired time. Schedule changes occur frequently and will likely present an opportunity to book an appointment. You may receive an automated notification as well, you may also simply take a peek at the online schedule anytime to see what has come available.

❄️SNOW & INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY Typically advanced notice of upcoming snow and ice storms is widely publicized. In these cases, please advise or consult the online schedule if you need to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible. Without at least 2 hours notice in cases of inclement weather (snow/ice storms), the 24-hour cancellation policy will come into effect and you will be charged for the missed appointment. Thank you for your understanding!

⚠️CANCELLATION POLICY Please note, Simcoe Osteopathy enforces a 24 hour cancellation policy. You may cancel online, by phone (519) 429-1808, or by email at sheryl@simcoeosteopathy.com up to 24 hours before your appointment. Any appointment that is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will be subject to a cancellation fee. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic manual therapy that is gentle, safe and suitable for all ages. By moving your joints and muscles, osteopathy improves your body's structure and function thus supporting your natural self healing mechanism.

Sheryl graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario (1991) with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Sheryl was formerly trained as a registered massage therapist at The Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington, Ontario (2002-2012). She has been a manual practitioner for over 20 years. During this time, she graduated from the 4 year Master Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M. OMSc) program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) in Hamilton, Ontario (2011). In 2013, Sheryl completed the Teacher Training Program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and formerly a member of the teaching faculty. In addition, Sheryl served as president of Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN) & the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) from 2016-2020. Her private practice is located in Norfolk County, Simcoe, Ontario.
